I love beautifying my home to reflect the season and therefore, I find myself excuses to decorate around the house all year round. Thank goodness my husband likes the pumpkins and the fall flowers & ornaments. The only thing I strange away from during the Halloween season is the heavy scary monsters and costumes. Fingers and bloody teeth are not a preferred choice for my table (slimy eyeballs for dinner, nope I’ll pass). One can say I am a fan of all things pretty fall décor with a pinch of pumpkin spice. Nonetheless, David is very fond of his eyeball bouncy ball (like these or these*), so I guess I’ll have to get used to it in the future (somewhat cheerful sobs).
‘Smile’ ornament is from a JYSK store. The sweet pupkins I got from the local market. The leaves we collected from our recent walk in the forest. See post HERE. Flowers below are also from the local flower market.
There is nothing better than bringing nature into your home.
Do you use natural ornaments to decorate, or rather use glitter pumpkins (not bad by the way, I love glittery stuff)?
