New York city in December. Christmas vibes and what to do ideas

new-york-christmas-tree-december-guide

A few years back Adrian spent a few days in New York (on a business trip) right before the Christmas holidays. As it was his first time in the never-sleeping-city, he decided to see as much as possible.

For the rather short period he had, he managed to go to the most notable parts of the City (to name a few):

  • Central park
  • Winter Village in Bryant Park
  • Times Square at night
  • Holiday Train Show at Grand Central Terminal
  • Wander around the streets and spend an hour at Whole Foods (who wouldn’t!)

You cannot go to New York and miss the Ice skating (well, technically if you do not know how to skate like me, you can). There are e few places where one can slide beautifully (or painfully) on the white glassy ice. The most notable rink in my personal view is  the Rockefeller Center .

Gorgeous at any time of the day and night.

In a mood for a show – not a problem. Broadway got you covered -no further explanation needed here really – see theater tickets and list of shows on their website.

In the mood for sightseeing? Yes, please – there are a number of tours available. You only have to decide – are you going by foot or prefer the ride-on options

One thing is certain, if you are off to visit the busiest city on the continent, you are for a fun trip.
